I compiled it using the instructions on the kde site.
I started by updating QT 2.3.1 and then compiling the source kdelib first
and then kdebase and the rest.
It works great except especially KNote and KBabel are slower than aspestus
dust faling.
Contacting authors only results in pointing fingers: "its the qt people"
they say. As if the qt people made qt so that only Knote and Kbabel is slow.
