Hrmmm, haven't a clue, I did they YDL 2.0 install on my 6360 a couple weeks
ago, and adside from the X-install crashing, and choosing the wrong package
to install, there wasn't actually a problem with the install, just me =]

Subject: YDL Install with 6360
I am still being mystified by the installation of YDL 2 on my 6360.
I would like some help from anyone who has successfully managed the
install please.
This is my machine:
6360 Powermac
80 Meg of RAM
MacOS 8.5
3 Gig Hard Drive with 1.5 unallocated ... ready for linux install
Mac 15 inch monitor
This is what I have done:
Expanded the bootx Installer off the cdrom onto my hard drive.
Run the installer.
Rebooted tha machine ... and I got five lines indicating the script
had begun...
i.e. Welcome to Linux 2.2.19-1...
Then nothing.
I can hear the cdrom searching ... but nothing more happens.
Press the <return> key and the machine reboots.
I tried various settings in options but no improvement. Ideally
(from my 1.2.1 experience) I know I will need to pass along some
video settings ... something like atyfb=vmode:11,cmode:6=8 ...
But the installer doesn;t seem to find the kernel ... which is
sitting in /system/Linux Kernels.
I went to the home site for ideas ... and downloaded the recommended
text install for older machines.
No improvement!
Can anyone assist??
Richard
