Hi!

Yesterday I got a copy of YDL 2.0 Install which was
downloaded and burnt to CD using Nero 5 from
http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.yellowdoglinux.com/pub/yellowdog/iso/
. I'm trying to install on a rev. b iMac upgraded to
160MB RAM but it ain't havin' it.

It gets as far as installing packages (under both text
and X install) and then just says "Package
installation failed" after a few minutes of whirring.
It doesn't say what package won't install.

So, I thought the CD might be corrupt but I tried
copying everything onto my windows drive with no
errors so the TOC isn't corrupt.

Have I got a bad image here? If so, can it be easily
fixed? If not, where can I download an image which is
guaranteed to work?

Also, I've noticed that after setting up my partitions
sometimes it says "Formatting partitions" and other
times it doesn't seem to bother but it makes no
difference to the above error whether the drives get
formatted or not.

Thanks for your help,

Dan
