Recompiling with the "experimental" 3dfx frame buffer support, console output
goes to the screen, but it almost immediately switches to a non-working
console resolution, and starting X doesn't switch back to anything I can see.
Tried adding "vga=ask" to the boot args, but it's not a "real" boot arg;
apparently it's a LILO-specific thing that's unsupported by yaboot.
Here are the relevant dmesg lines:

Console: colour dummy device 80x25
  [...]
MacOS display is /bandit/3Dfx,Voodoo3
Using unsupported 1280x960 3Dfx,Voodoo3 at 90da8000, depth=16, pitch=2560
Console: switching to colour frame buffer device 160x60
  [^this is the bad console setting.^]
fb0: Open Firmware frame buffer device on /bandit/3Dfx,Voodoo3
fb: Voodoo3 memory = 16384K
tdfxfb: reserving 1024 bytes for the hwcursor at d0258000
fb1: 3Dfx Voodoo3 frame buffer device

All the documentation I could find on frame buffer settings has been opaque,
to say the least. I just want the fb1 console to not switch to 160x60. TIA.
