I have been having a most bothersome problem with X only working in
8-bit color. I have a Performa 6400/180 with the standard Valkyrie
video card running Yellow Dog 2.0. I have tried everything I can think
of, BootX arguments, Xconfiguarator.... , but if I set up X in
Xconfigurator to 16-bit X fails to start. Any help or suggestions would
be most appreciated.
