I have had a similar problem with my G3 Beige Tower. I have tried
clean installs 5 times and every time it gets to the "click on Linux"
stage to install and either the screen goes dark, until I restart, or
I get this very dark text reading that items are booting but then
nothing ever happens.

I once left it running all night for the same reason as you, with no response.

I will try the tech support that came with it, but if anyone has any
suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks,

Brian
