I tried the 2.2.5 kernel...it's still in there. Same result. I figured
there might be more emphasis on high-speed connections with the server
release and that ppp might wait until Gone Home, but that didn't make a lot
of sense. I have no idea what to make of the absence of resolv.conf...what
package is it a part of?
