Can a 2.2.5 kernel be compiled on an imac with the the source and utils
from yellow dog? or does it have to patched and such?
basically i want to start stripping down the kernel but only rudimentary
skills in that are. so i would like to download the complete tree from
ftp.kernel.org and go from there.
