I was having similar problems, but I seem to have been able to clear them
up. I use XF68_FBDev. At the bottom of your XF86Config file there is a
subsection called display (some of the locations may be off, I'm at work and
not in front of my Linux box, I'd bet the other Dan from YDL can correct my
mistakes though). Here you need to set your bit depth to whatever it was in
MacOS (also this will only work if you have "no video driver" checked off in
BootX) also where it says Virtual you need to delete the resolutions listed
and put in "default". This may help. I believe this is fairly accurate,
please correct me if I am wrong.
