I have downloaded the 2.2.6 kernel and was wondering if anyone could
tell me the the quickest/cleanest/safest way to upgrade the kernel. Do I
use lilo as the documentation suggests? I have been installing updates
from /tmp. Can I do the same thing with the kernel upgrade? Any info
would be appreciated. Or if you could direct me to the most appropriate
documentation that would be great....
