I have redone my ANS ftp site:

New additions:
newer kernels(still 2.2.4, added Mach64 drivers)
Yellow Dog Linux section(tested and working)
r5 section(untested, but should work)
some install documentation(will get better shortly)
This should allow installs of r4.1, r5, or Yellow Dog Linux onto an
ANS 700(or 500???). It should allow the use of internal or external SCSI
drives. This set of kernels also has support for MACE ethernet, and
tulip(modules) ethernet, as well as David McWherter's lcd patches and Mach64
support.
Note, I have not yet gotten a Mach64 card working. Please let me know if
anyone knows how to tell OF to use a second video card on an ANS.
