Subject: Apple's streaming server - anyone got it to build?

Hi all,
I eventually found the free streaming server that Apple has made
available in source form on the site http://www.publicsource.apple.com.
The trouble is, it doesn't build.
Has anyone tried to build the Apple streaming server on YDL?
Unfortunately Apple themselves are no help, it would seem that pretty
much most of the time their publicsource webserver is hung tight and
won't let anyone connect to it. Sigh.
