Booting?

Ok, I dl'd the champion 1.1 stuff and burned it to a cd. I formatted my
MacOS Drive in a G3 to HFS, not HFS+ (does this matter?)

I got BootX 1.1.3 and latest kernal. I run BootX to run Linux and

I get teh screen to boot up linus ..it sez "booting..."..That's it. It
doesn't do any more.

What am I to do?
