Subject: Login???

Another dumb newbie question.
I finally got YDL installed on my powerbook only to be greeted with a
localhost login prompt. I know what my password is ( I set it during the
installation ) but I was never prompted for a login name before. I'm at a
loss-I checked the FAQ' s but couldn't locate a suitable answer. What should
I do?
And don't tell me to give up on Linux....
