I got it from here :

http://xenu.phys.uit.no/~alvin/linux/trackpad_tool.tar.gz

I copied the trackpad-r5 to /usr/local/bin/trackpad

But then found that to be able to use it from other than root-user,
you need to "chmod a+x /dev/adb"

Is there any significant danger in doing that ?

BTW, this page:
http://xenu.phys.uit.no/~alvin/linux/pbg3.html
... has lots of good stuff about Linux on a G3
