You'll find a diff that should patch into recent 2.2's, and
a precompiled kernel based off Paul's stable tree.

I've started using this driver on my development machine for about
2 days now, and I also have briefly tested its earlier incarnations
on a B&W G3.

Setting modes with fbset should work fine, as should XF68_FBDev,
given that you specify the correct timings. Note that only 8bpp or
32bpp is currently supported.

Depending on your nvram value, the default boot depth is likely
640x480@60, unless you specify another one with a kernel argument;
eg. video=aty128fb:vmode:13, to use vmode 13.

There probably wouldn't be significant graphics speed increases
for a few weeks, until acceleration is implemented.

I'll be glad to hear what works, and what doesn't.
