Subject: new KDE install problem

Hello,
I have a small problem, and since it touches on the compiler, I prefer
asking gurus. I want to install the new kde wm, but it needs a newer
libstdc++ than the one that comes with CS11. Is it ok to upgrade or will
the compiler refuse to cooperate afterwards? What bothers me is the
equal sign, I would have prefered a greater than! So this is what I get
when I, as root, try to install:
[root@lempo KDE1.1.2]# rpm -Uvh libstdc++-2.10.0-0c.ppc.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
libstdc++ = 2.9.0 is needed by egcs-c++-1.1.2-12e
thanks,
Cyril
