f11 & f12 as mouse buttons

Subject: f11 & f12 as mouse buttons

On my wallstreet pb 233 showkeys reports f11 as 110, and f12 as 111.

        With kernel arg: adb_buttons=1,103,111

I get the trackpad button left, fn+ctl middle, and f11 right (Not f12)
This is function followed by ctl, by the way, and not vice-versa

        With kernel arg: adb_buttons=1,111,112

I get the SAME behavior for left and middle, and NO right button.

I am baffled. Does anyone have a solution?
(Preferably along the lines of ctl+mouse = middle, option+mouse = right
THAT would be usable!)
