Hi there.

I am in need of a kicker email app. Basically, my first goal is to reach or
be able to do about 300 emails per minute, or 5 per second. They won't have
much in them, as they won't contain any attachments nor much body
information.

I am on the Mac platform now, but am not sure WebStar on the MacOS can
handle such a task. So, I'd like to get my hands on a 333 MHz iMac (G3 box)
and use that as a mail server. I hear it's fast and stable, which is what I
need. The box will be dedicated to email only, so the OS, utilities and the
email server will be the only things on it.

Can someone comment on their experience with similar systems, and/or what
they would suggest?

Cheers.
