Subject: basic b&w installation question

I've got a b&w with OS 8.6 on a scsi drive, and an ATA drive that's
available for linux. I can't figure out from the installation manual
whether I have to include a Mac partition with a minimum Mac OS on the
ATA drive, or if I can devote that drive entirely to linux? i.e. I
am not sure on pages 4.3 and 4.4 of the manual what information pertains
only to the case where you have a single drive.
