Mac OS 9 Drive Set-up has a great an apparently great feature, you select
"LinuxPPC" from the formatting options and it automatically divides your
drive up into multiple partitions:
Mac OS - Root - Swap - usr - home - opt
each with the proper formatting. You can then adjust the sizes to suit your
needs.

I would think this would make installing rather easy as that is the
lenghthiest and most complicated section of the install manual. So how son
till someone adds the support into linux to get it to recognize the hard
drive under Mac OS 9?
