Is is possible to be connected to the net via PPP with this Mac, and at the
same time FTP into a Linux machine on my internal (private) network?

The only way I was able to FTP/telnet/browse my local server was by
switching TCP/IP so that I connected via Ethernet (and I put in the
appropriate network numbers) but then I can't also be online.
