Hi YellowDoggers,

Well, my bumbling has done it again. My Champion Server was running smoothly
(as I was learning linux) until I got up and tripped the cord from the wall
socket. Needless to say, my CS1.1 does not come up cleanly after rebooting.
Actually, I don't think its so bad--everything works fine until the X screen
starts, then it goes into an endless loop.

I have learned to boot up in run level 3 by passing the "init 3" parameter in
bootX, however, after running Xconfig then running startX I get the usual
error messages spewed out. I would like to post that message here for some
diagnostic help.

What can I type after "startx" to capture the output to a file? Once I get
that then perhaps some of you knowledgeable folks can help me out with the
real problem.
