I've been asking the same question on three different lists for about
a week now, to no avail. If YOU ever get an answer, let me know- I
don't know what kind of machine you're using, but I'm on a G3/350
w/512 megs of RAM, and the Linux partition is on a Quantum Atlas IV
18 gig drive controlled by an Adaptec 2940UW PCI card. I've tried
resetting the Monitors control panel on my Mac, which YDL sometimes
ignores, and other times starts to boot into 1024x768, but about 3/4
of the way through the boot process goes into a nasty infinite loop
that I have to force quit out of. Xconfigurator offers no resolution
change options, and I have yet to stumble across a kernel arg that
can be passed via BootX that does the trick. I agree, though- at
640x480 running YDL is damn near useless, especially under KDE. I'll
keep looking for a solution if you will... :)
