I have a curiousity on my machine that I have not seen a solution for
in the archives here or in a lot of other archives for that matter.

I am running the 2.2.14 kernel on an iMac DV and am trying to get
Xpmac to work. I put a symlink from etc/X11/X to it. But when I
try 'startx' the fun begins. I get a blue screen (and I thought only
windows got those) with a mouse controlled cursor. My different
buttons change the colors on the screen (grey and black) but that is
all. Though admittedly I have tried to make cool pictures with this
new drawing tool, that has gotten me nowhere to figuring out how to
make Xpmac work. I started a script before 'startx' and this is what
I got:

Seeing the 'failed to set default font path' I added /usr/X11R6/lib
and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts to my path. ...to no avail.

Is there anyone that can help with this?

ps I am booting via yaboot_0.4 with the line 'novideo' in my .conf file
and have not run xconfigator
