Hi,

Installed Xpmac.rage128.usb.rev6 on my Lombard and the acceleration is
excellent. Most irritating bug is a problem with USB mouse clicks.
Not sure what precise reason is, but symptom is that selecting text in
an xterm is really weird - left-button clicks don't always start a new
selection. It's like an up-click event has been missed. The left-button
press on the trackpad/ADB works fine, so it's a USB thing.

Other curiosity is that my Courier fonts are very grainy - presumably it
can't find/use them and a default ugly font is being used. It seems to be
the only font affected.

Other than that, it works very well ... and I love being able to avoid using
kernel arguments.

PS: Tried Hugh's suggestions for getting accelerated X with FBDev, and it
worked pretty well - few redraw bugs, but good on the whole. Then upgraded
XFree to 3.3.5 and got bizzare white screen on bootup which faded to
tinges of green at the edges. Didn't like the look of it - hard reboot,
manual fsck, etc. So downgraded back to the previous 3.3.3.1 but still
got same white screen. Since I can't reproduce my original FBDev accl'n
I am a bit bemused. Any suggestions? Using kernel 2.2.12-2 d/l from YDL.
