When partitioning using MAC OS9. They have a more advanced setup in
OS9 on drivesetup compared to 8.5 or 8.6 even including a scheme for
LINUXPPC. Unfortunately, I could never get YDL to pick up the new
partitioning, when choosing "Unallocated," in the OS9 Drivesetup.
Also, you have to turn off everything as per instructions when
reinstalling the MAC OS. Just keep your core files. Turn off
networking, internet, etc, if you don't it won't find HDA1, if you
are doing this on the same drive.

Then,on boot, I just decided to go with 8.6 drive setup. Pulled out
my 8.6 install and used it to do drive setup and it held up to create
the partitions.
