I was wondering if you knew how to mount a zip disk under YDL? I'm
not sure which device to mount, and there is no mention of it in my
fstab file. I tried playing around with mount. Anyway, sorry to
trouble you, any help appreciated. Tom.
I added the following to /etc/fstab:
/dev/sdb /mnt/zip hfs user,exec,dev,suid,rw,noauto,users 0 0
Note that this entry will allow you to mount Mac Zip disks.
I also did a "mkdir /mnt/zip". Now /mnt looks like
[cmb@localhost cmb]$ ls -l /mnt
total 3
drwxrwxr-x 2 root root 1024 Oct 9 1998 cdrom
drwxrwxr-x 2 root root 1024 Feb 6 1996 floppy
drwxrwxr-x 2 root root 1024 Dec 4 14:24 zip
I don't remember the actual mount command because I created a KDE
entry and use it. Probably
mount /zip
will work -- check out the mount man page.
