Dan,

This morning I used the ramdisk I got from your imaclinux folder and the
kernal for LinuxPPC 4 and the install worked flawlessly. Everything
installed just fine and no errors at all :)

Maybe this would work for Phillipe's mac as well?

It may have been the case that the kernal on the CD was somehow faulty.

Thanks for your help, guys... it got me there in the end. :)
