I have a B/W G-3 450 and am having problems with the Install of YD
Champion Server 1.1. The install actually goes well and the bootup
process looks like things are going well. However, it boots up and
prompts me to log in, I type in 'root' to log in and it automatically
starts scrolling some info very fast, so fast I can't read it. It appears
to be scrolling the same info in a loop. I tried rebooting and was
prompted with the same login screen, but this time I didn't type in
anything, I just waited a few seconds and it started the scrolling text
thing again - all with no action on my part.

I'm using a dual hardrive setup, the SCSI to run my Mac OS and an ATA
drive to run YD. I'm using the kernel that came with the 1.1 CD. I have
"no video drivers" selected in BootX as well as the "hda=noautotune
hdb=noautotune" parameter set.

Any ideas on what's going on? Is there a newer kernel I should try? If
so, where do I find new kernels? I tried Yellow Dog's website and found
only updates on packages, no kernel updates. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
John
