Please NOTE: jdk12_pre-v1 is *very* old and I don't think it included native
threads support.

Please get jdk122 from http://khendricks.ivey.uwo.ca/linuxppc/jdk/ and follow
all of the instructions (including kernel and glibc upgrades).

If after follwoing the instructions, you still can't get it to work, please
e-mail me directly and I will try to help you get things going.
