Subject: mol hangs on smiley face

I sent this out to the MOL list earlier today but there have been no responses, so I
thought I'd ask you guys.
So I just installed mol 0.9.39-1 on my imac but when I run startmol it hangs on the
smiley face icon. I've looked at a couple faqs but they don't mention anything. What
can i do to get mac to boot, does it matter that my system folder is on an HFS+ partition?
