Sound?

I have not seen any sound configuration utilities, nor any sound programs. Am
I just completely blind? 8-/
I got KDE up and running nice... Ahhhh... very impressive... I'll try Gnome
next...
I do see /dev/audio, but when I cat /dev/urandom to it, no sound comes out...
8-/
What am I missing?
