Hi,
a few weeks back i attempted to get PPP running on my powerbook G3 under
Champion Server 1.0. Didn't work. So, now i've got a little free time, and
i figured i'd give it another go. no luck.
I've used netcfg to set up the ppp0 interface, and set my modem to /dev/ttyS2.
What's happening is that, well, nothing happens. When i launch usernet to
intiate my connection, i press the ppp0 button, and the red light turns
green [supposed to indicate that it's trying]. That light never turns
green. Am i missing something here? If i can't get this to go i'm just
going to give up and wait for Gone Home.
