Some problems with YDL on beige g3:
1. booting- system asks which mode to start up in- graphics, text, network,
etc.... every time.
2. booting- /usr/sbin/portmap is not found, asks if I want to change the
config for this. I thought that I disabled NFS.
3. X windows- startx quits back out. I have to run xinit and then
"startkde" in the xterm that starts up.
Also, I see garbage when each deamon is started-- are those ansi codes that
aren't being interpreted correctly?
Any pointers to clear these up would be appreciated.
