Hello All,

It's been a while..

I've now got the YDL cd from http://www.everythinglinux.com.au
BTW it comes with an "errata" cd which has various updates to RPMs on it
(not a whole heaps, but a fair few).. I've yet to check out just how recent
the rpms on it are, though. Saved me having to download them all though.

Interested in an upgrade deal for purchasers of CS 1.0 to 1.1...

To my question:
I failed to get XFree86 working on my Powerbook, and capitulated into using
XPmac. gnome seems to be rather laggy in behaviour.. I was wondering which
is better, XFree86 or Xpmac, and why? There have been intimations that
XFree86 is better. If so I'll give it another try.. to improve the
performance..

I'm about to try out FreeBuilder, a Java IDE written in Java.. are there
any other Java IDEs (graphical preferably, to relieve the tedium) for Linux
PPC? I've trawled the web and came up with little.

Cheers,
kRo
