This is probably a stupid question:
I was going to copy the complete distro to my Mac to install until I realized
that a lot of the file names were >32 chars and would thus be truncated and
incorrect, as far as the install scripts are concerned.
Can Yellow Dog be installed from a MacOS filesystem? I installed my copy via
FTP [having a 5 Mbps cablemodem sure helps], which doesn't have a problem with
long file names.
