        I'm having a similar problem. I have MacOs8.6 and MaxOs10 server on
one hard drive and MacOs 8.6 and yellowdog on another. This has worked fine
for me with no errors. I replaced the MacOs8.6 on the drive with yellowdog
with MasOs10 Client. I then moved the bootx over to the MacOs 8.6 and was
able to boot fine from there into yellowdog. I now have one drive with 8.6
and 10 server version, and another drive with 10 client and yellowdog. This
all workded fine for a couple of days but now when I try to boot yellowdog
it gives me the file system error you describe.
In addition, when I bring up MaOs 10 server, it says it can't read
the drive yellowdog is on and wants to reinit it. I don't know which volume
it is having trouble with, MacOs 10 client or Linux.
