Dhcp configuration

I just got my cable modem hooked up, and running. It ran great when I
first configured it , but at the next boot things moved really slow. I
finally came to the conclusion that it's because dhcpcd is over writing
my /etc/resolv.conf everytime at boot. I know that I need dhcpcd to
start with -R option to prevent this but I don't know what configuration
file I need to change this in. Can anybody help me out there?
