KDE will not be using qt 2.0 is the stable version of KDE until late this
fall or early the spring of 2000. KDE 1.1.2 (due out in July, with bug
fixes, new icons and some included themes), still uses qt 1.4.x

Although, you might want qt 2.0 if you are using a CVS version of the KDE
2.0 libs, or if you are using Koffice.

One important thing to note: qt 2.0 is not compatible with any version of
KDE 1.x.x, although porting KDE 1.x.x to qt 2.0 is *suppose* to be easy (the
include a script the eases in the porting work or fun).
