If you enable the no video drivers option X will run in whatever resolution you
last had running on the macOS. As I understand it you will not have
acceleration either. The best way is to uncheck the no video drivers checkbox
in bootx, and click the save to prefs button then boot. If you cannot get X up
and running you may want to try the opposite.
