Subject: Mouse probs on install

I have a G3 All-In-One, 266 mhz with 6m Vram, 96m RAM and trying to
install YDL on an external drive with 1.4Gigs free space.
I keep getting the "Cannot configure mouse" problem after the apps&stuff
install. I read the dorections, and i know this is sposed to be related
to disk space, but i have PLENTY of space. The whole install takes 446m
of disk space and my partitions are set up as such... swap=185m,
boot=10m, root=500m, home=200m, usr=200m, var=200m, tmp=100m.
What's the deal, any ideas? Oh yeah, i have already installed it and
had it up and running once before, but I could not figure out how to
reconfigure the video settings, or how to get XConfigurator to run
without reinstalling everything.. So i reinstalled it all, and now,
after 25 tries, i cannot get past the confiogure mouse problem.
HELP!
