Subject: video settings under C.S 1.2

Is there any way to get 32bit depth on an imac with cs 1.2? I'v tried nad I only get a
really messed up screen, and I'm not just talking about odd colors. I know that I
can do it with the no video setting checked in bootx but I dont get acceleration that
way, nor is my video ram recognized this way.
