You can pull the source tar file off the 'net yourself. I did
when I experimented with WM on my Solaris box.

Personally, the way I do sysadmin, everything I install goes in
/usr/local/packages/<whatever> and then I have symlinks from
        /usr/local/{bin|include|lib|share|whatever} to
/usr/local/packages/<whatever>. This way it's easy to tell what
belongs to what and easy to do upgrades. This is my poor-man's
version of package mananement. It does work reasonably well
        for /usr/local.
