Subject: Why won't configure work...

Any idea why the configure command won't work? it just returns "bash
(actually it does it for any shell) configure command not recognized" or
something like this, you know what I mean. It's worked in the past, it wont
now. I'm trying to get libproplist and this problem isn't helping.
