Hello, I'm trying to install YD Linux on a 8500/200 with 128MB RAM
and an Adaptec PowerDomain 3940UW SCSI card.
The vmlinux which is included on the CD do not contain support for
such board so I've tried the vmlinux on 2.2.5, 2.2.6 and even the on
for the B&W G3 found ay ftp.yellowdoglinux.com.
All the new kernels identify correctly the board but sooner it
identifies the disks connected to one of the two SCSI bus the
computer hangs.
It always come out the following message:
Aborting command due to timeout pid 0 scsi 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 0
Test Unit Ready 00 00 00 00 00
Any clue?
Ciao
Paolo
