Has anyone thought to try gprof on a program? I did the following:
$cat > test.c
int main() { return 0; }
^D
$gcc -pg test.c
$./a.out
$gprof a.out gmon.out
Segmentation fault
I'm typing from memory, but the idea is there. I have
binutils-2.9.1.0.19a-2b and also egcs-1.1.2-0.8b.pre2. Ideas?
