Subject: Mouse Help!

Since upgrading to the 2.2.12 kernel, I've had some mouse problems
with my stock standard, hocky-puck, mouse.
To wit:
- mouseconfig/Xconfigurator give me an unworking configuration
- using the page at: http://www.loomer.com/linuxppc/ I managed to
get a working mouse by running gpm -R -m /dev/usbmouse -t ps2
and changing my XF86Config from looking at /dev/mouse to
looking
at /dev/gpmdata
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to get 3-button mouse emulation
working (or I can't figure out what the keys are, yes, I tried "num
lock" and "=").
Any ideas? I've fiddled about with a lot of settings and symlinks (in
/dev) but
still no joy.
Thanks,
t
