I have a quick question. No matter what I do I cannot get my contour
design 3 button USB mouse to work with YDL. When I try to use it I get
the message that the kernel only understands version 1.0 of the USB
software and my 3 button mouse uses version 1.16. I decided to choose
this mouse because YDL has an add for it and drivers listed on their web
site. I have installed the rpm patch for it
(kernel-pmac-2.2.6-16b.ppc.rpm) and it still won't work.

1 - I either need to know how you to get the mouse installed correctly
under kernel version 2.2.6, or

2 - I need to install kernel version 2.2.10 which has native support for
my mouse. The problem is I have no idea how to install a new kernel as
I am very new to linux.

Any Ideas?
