I passes "single" into kernal arguments and booted in.

Still loaded "default keymap" so the keys were still screwed.

I persevered (with the screwed keys) getting to the file opening it etc,
but I can't find the arrow keys.

So anyway, that was too much work ;) Any kernal args I can pass that will
at least get my keys in the rigth order so I can make the change permanent.

I could take the keymap out of init.d, but would that do more harm than good?
